These are pretty strong vitamin D pills. I started taking this after my doctor suggested my vitamin D level was really low. The first thing I will say is that these pills are relatively small but give you a ton of vitamin D in just a single pill. I just take one every day to get my vitamin D level up and then just one every other day. It is suggested you take one a day if needed but this really is a large amount of vitamin D but nothing out of the normal range.
